Most likely created to top the sitting room or church organ this piece of history is hand-fashioned in striking detail. This must be what all those thimbles were getting up to…Delicate and featherlight, it features four embroidered corners (leaves and stem) and a squared center of intricate lacing patterning. Despite its age, it has few visible pulls and only a few visible threads (possibly just how it was made on one side) . Overall it’s in practically mint condition. Blow up these images and get in close to admire the detail. It’s lighter than air and a whisper of a piece of history.
