Made in the original burlap-and-lace aesthetic, in the best way possible. Country casual elite. Romantic cottage core’s original inspiration. It’d be amazing in a nice frame. A welcome bit of warmth in a modern floating rectangle of acrylic or glass perhaps. Or just highlighted by a surround of natural hardwood or a few wood candlesticks and gourds. Available in 3 sizes.
Antique in nature. Relevant in history. “Woman’s work” most likely accomplished in her “free time” after doing all the other work, no doubt. Handcrafted by someone who dreamt of voting; was understandably nervous about electricity; and no doubt wanted access to - fewer hours of handcrafting or more books. Yet, she brought lasting beauty into the world using the roughest of materials, grown nearby (linen was produced and shipped worldwide from around this locale). You go girl. We’ve come a long way… even if there’s further to go. Two hundred plus years from now, my emails won’t be hung up and admired. Just saying.

Would be amazing in a borderless floating frame in a modern home or a wood frame amid cottage/country decor. In amazing condition. Could be ironed more, but not starched or stiff in nature.
“Lace comes in two main varieties: bobbin and needlepoint. These refer to the method of creation for the lace. It creates a grid look with tiny windows.” If it looks like a LOT of work, remember that she probably had to make the threads first, after doing everything else by candlelight.
